Orphanage Development Project
The Orphanage Development Project is growing. Our purpose is to improve the working methods of one of the largest orphanages in Phnom Penh. The aim of the project is to improve the living conditions in the orphanage to meet the orphans' needs.
The Nutrition Center Orphanage is located in Phnom Penh on Monivong Blvd. The orphanage serves 120 children, who are mainly under the age of 5. Approximately 30 % of the children are HIV-positive. Many have physical and mental disabilities.
Due to the poor financial situation of the orphanage, the caretakers lack the time and professional skills necessary to enhance the development of individual children. Our volunteer and sponsorship program improves this situation.
